In response to the situation, India has heightened security measures at airports nationwide, requiring passengers to undergo additional security screenings. The S-400 air defense system successfully intercepted eight Pakistani missiles over Jammu Civil Airport, Samba, RS Pura, Arnia, and surrounding areas. Additionally, two Pakistani drones were neutralized near Jammu University.
Defence sources have indicated that Pakistan employed Hamas-style missiles targeting various locations in Jammu, drawing parallels to the tactics used in attacks on Israel, characterized by multiple low-cost rockets.
